Brewery news

Molson Coors is all set to pack its premium Dutch beer Grolsch in 330ml bottles and make them available for sale in on-trade by 2 July 2012, The Drinks Business Review reported on June, 27.

Grolsch's new 330ml bottles will replace the existing 275ml format, which was less appealing to the consumers.

The US-based company is also rebranding its two variants Grolsch and Grolsch Blonde bottles, which will be complemented by new glassware.

Grolsch senior brand manager Simon Pick said world beer continues to see significant growth and the updated branding will help them to take full advantage.

"The re-designed bottle will bring us in line with other world beer brands and with Grolsch globally, whilst the updated packaging will help Grolsch standout behind the bar," Pick added.

"In a developing and competitive market, we are investing to ensure that the Grolsch brand remains a premium choice for beer drinkers."
