Brewery news

After almost a year of having its flagship Conductor’s Craft Ale brewed under contract at Wellington Brewery in Guelph, Junction Craft Brewing announced on August, 20 plans to open a brewery and retail store in The Junction, the Toronto neighbourhood that gave the brewery its name.

The new facility will include a 3 hectolitre brewhouse, tasting room and retail outlet. The currently draught-only Conductor’s will be sold on site in 500 ml bottles and 1.9 L growlers, and will be joined by other new brands on a regular and seasonal basis.

According to JCB president Tom Paterson, the new brewery should be open by the early fall, pending all necessary licenses and approvals.
