E-Malt.com News article: USA, HI: Kona Brewing Company brings back Pipeline Porter
Brewery news

Kona Brewing Company’s Pipeline Porter is returning to the mainland for its seventh year as part of Kona’s Aloha Series, beerpulse.com reported on September, 25.

This rich porter is brewed with freshly roasted Kona coffee.

Pipeline Porter will hit grocer’s shelves and will be available on draught throughout the US mainland and Hawaii mid-September through December 2012.

“This is our longest running Aloha Series seasonal, and with its growth over the past two years it is one of our most successful in the Kona portfolio,” said Kona Brewing Company president Mattson Davis. “Pipeline Porter is popular because Kona coffee beans are among the best in the world, and the 100% Kona coffee we add rounds out the porter’s flavor.”

Served year-round in Hawaii, Pipeline Porter has 5.4% ABV and an IBU of 30.
