E-Malt.com News article: EU: Carlsberg appoints head to newly united Northern and Western Europe operations

Carlsberg Group announced on September, 28 that Senior Vice President Jørn Tolstrup Rohde takes up responsibility for a new, enlarged "Western Europe Region".

The region was previously organisationally split in Northern and Western Europe headed by Jørn Tolstrup Rohde and Jesper Friis respectively. Carlsberg Group said Jørn Tolstrup is a highly organised leader, with a special ability to ensure execution and results.

The Group also announced that Jesper Friis, who has been SVP Western Europe since 2009, has decided to leave Carlsberg to take up a position as Divisions Director in the international food company Danish Crown. The change takes place with immediate effect.
