Brewery news

The Two Rivers Brewing Co. officially opened in Easton, PA, on December, 20.

While they were not serving their own craft beer, owner Troy Reynard said at least nine local brews, including Weyerbacher, Troegs, Lancaster, Stoudt's and Bethlehem Brew Works, were on tap.

The restaurant/brewery has been more than a year in the making.

Brewmaster Wayne Milford, who was once a head brewer at Dogfish Head in Delaware, has been tweaking and touching up the recipes for Two Rivers' signature brews – Pine Street Blond, Banker's Brown Ale and Guetters Island Pale Ale – since early this summer.

The beers should be available by late March, according to Milford, who originally hoped to have his own beer on tap before the end of the year.

"It's a disappointment," Reynard said. "We had to make a change in our plan to accommodate the tanks, but we're confident we're on the right path."

The brewing system arrived last month and is in storage just down the street from Two Rivers.
