E-Malt.com News article: USA, CO: Odell Brewing Co. to release Amuste Oak Aged Imperial Porter, first beer in its Cellar Series of 2013

Odell Brewing Co. announced on January, 25 that its first Cellar Series of 2013 will be an imperial porter brewed with grape must and aged in red wine barrels.

The new beer, called Amuste Oak Aged Imperial Porter, will hit shelves on February, 9 after two years in the making.

“They say it takes a lot of good beer to make great wine,” said the brewery’s QA/QC manager, Eli Kolodny. “After two years of research and development, I can honestly say that the opposite holds just as true.”

Odell Brewing will hold a release party for Amuste in the Tap Room on February, 9. Amuste will be available in 750 ml cork and cage finished bottles throughout the brewery’s ten-state distribution footprint.
