Brewery news

Amsterdam Brewery has announced a surprise LCBO release for one of the beers in the limited edition Adventure Brews series, Canadian Beer News reported on August, 7.

Named after the largest and most famous red light district in the brewery’s namesake city, De Wallen Barrel Aged Sour Framboise is a version of an award winning Framboise and it is named after the red-light district in Amsterdam.

“Souring beer is a risky endeavour, much like venturing into the red-light district of Amsterdam. This beer reflects our dedication to innovation and adventure combining old world styles and techniques to bring you adventurous beers,” said the owners.

De Wallen is available now at select LCBO locations, where it retails for C$5.95 per 330 ml bottle while supplies last. Bottles are also available on the cellar list at the Amsterdam BrewHouse brewpub and restaurant on Toronto’s waterfront.
