The city of Homewood is jumping into the craft brewing industry by building a brewery of its own - Red Hills Brewing, WIAT 42 reported on August 24.

The Red Hills Brewing Company is currently under construction. The building is located on Central Avenue, next door to Steel City Pops.

From construction to crafting the right flavours of beer, a lot of work has yet to be done. The brewery is projected to open sometime in the fall.
