E-Malt.com News article: USA, WI: Nebraska’s Pals Brewing Company expanding to Wisconsin
Brewery news

Pals Brewing Company has been providing an outlet for food, drinks, and entertainment for almost seven years.

The brewery opened up in late March of 2017 and has been growing since then with more food options, new drinks, and more nights for people to come out and have some fun. Now the party is getting ready to expand in Wisconsin. Pals Brewing Company will be expanding near Wisconsin Dells and for co-owner Paul Oettinger it’s a childhood dream come true, knopnews2.com reported on January 11.

“Three of the founding owners of Pals are from Wisconsin as most people know. We grew up in Wausau which is about an hour-and-a-half from Wisconsin Dells. We spent a lot of our childhood going to waterparks, it’s a resort town, and there are some major resorts with major indoor waterparks, the largest outdoor waterpark in the country I believe is in Wisconsin Dells and it’s a tourist trap. There are about 200,000 visitors a week in the summer so there are a lot of thirsty people,” Oettinger said.

With Pals opening in another state, people in western Nebraska may wonder when is Pals going to open another location in Nebraska. That can only be answered with time.

“We have always wanted to have a second location in the state of Nebraska it’s just all of the planets have not aligned and you know running a place like this is having the right management team. We were able to find that and pull that up to Wisconsin and maybe one day we will be able to pull that off in Nebraska too,” Oettinger said.

Oettinger along with the rest of the co-owners are really excited to bring their food and drinks to the place they called home really soon.

“We are just excited to bring our craft beer and pizza to Wisconsin where we are from. We are pretty far in the design phase right now. We would like to start construction in the spring and hope to be open in December of 2024, so it’s a pretty condensed timeline to try and get open,” Oettinger said.
