Brewery news

Montenegrin brewer Trebjesa recorded a net profit of just under 550,000 euro ($533,900) in 2023, down from 1.3 million euro in 2022, local media reported.

The company’s revenue came in at 33 million euro last year, representing an increase of 11% on the previous year, media portal Investitor.me reported on April 22.

Trebjesa, based in Niksic, in central Montenegro, is part of North American brewing company Molson Coors and is the largest Montenegrin brewer. It had 212 employees at the end of last year, six fewer compared to 2022.

Molson Coors owns a license for the Niksic beer brand, which it produces in Apatin for the Serbian market and in Zagreb for the Croatian market, Investitor.me said.
