E-Malt.com News article: Canada: The Brewers Association of Canada is electing a new Chair of the Board of Directors

The Brewers Association of Canada announced on April 26 the election of Richard (Rick) Knudson as Chair of the Board of Directors for 2005-2006.

Mr. Knudson has more than 17 years experience in the brewing industry and is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Sleeman Breweries Limited, based in Guelph, Ont. He was born in Winnipeg and is a graduate of the University of Manitoba.

The Brewers Association of Canada is the national trade association representing companies brewing and marketing beer in Canada. Its 16 members represent 97 per cent of all beer brewed in the country.
