In the month of September the Ukrainian exchanges signed export contracts for 682,700 tonnes of barley, which represent almost half of the amount for August, the Union of Agrarian Exchanges reported.

The major volume of 3rd class barley was contracted in spot basis, 616,000 tonnes. The average price was 616 hryvnias per tonne (CPT), VAT included. Forward contracts were made for 66,770 tonnes of barley. The average price was 573 hryvnias per tonne CPT. The remotest contracts were for February delivery.
