Som Distilleries And Breweries Ltd has announced a net profit of Rs0.73 crore for the 12 months to Mar 2006. Sales grew by 30 percent to Rs28.16 crore, operating profit was Rs1.56 crore and profit before depreciation and tax was Rs2.18 crore.

Equity capital base was Rs10.00 crore and earnings per share, Rs0.7.

For the quarter to March 2006, the company reported a net profit of Rs1.15 crore. Sales grew by 80 percent to Rs8.79 crore, operating profit was Rs0.93 crore and profit before depreciation and tax was Rs1.52 crore. Its share price as on 12 Jun 2006 was Rs13 and price earnings ratio, 17.8. Its 52-week high/low was 32/8.
