Granite City Food & Brewery Ltd. announced the opening on September 19 of its 15th restaurant located in the Minneapolis suburb of St. Louis Park, Minnesota.

"We are extremely please to have opened our third restaurant in the Minneapolis/St. Paul market," said Steve Wagenheim, Granite City Food & Brewery's President and CEO. "This great location at Highway 100 and Excelsior Boulevard in St. Louis Park allows us to continue to build brand awareness and customer loyalty as we proceed with our "clustering" strategy in the Twin Cities area. Our development schedule is on track for 2006 and we are looking ahead to another aggressive year for growth in 2007 as we complete this 4-6-8 plan." Wagenheim said that in addition to the St. Louis Park location, the company is planning on opening restaurants in Roseville, Minnesota, Omaha, Nebraska and Madison, Wisconsin by year-end.

Granite City Food & Brewery Ltd. currently operates 15 Granite City Food & Brewery upscale casual dining restaurants featuring a broad menu of popular made-from-scratch food items and handcrafted beers. Its broad menu offers traditional and regional foods served in generous portions at reasonable prices, affording guests an excellent value and great dining experience. The first Granite City restaurant opened in St. Cloud, MN in June 1999 and the Company subsequently expanded to other Midwest markets. The Company also operates a beer production facility which is used to provide raw material support to its restaurants to create operational efficiencies.
