BRAU UNION Romania comes with a novelty on the Romanian beer market - Ciuc Winter beer, especially designed and packaged for the cold season, according to the company’s press release, December 11, 2006.

The special promotion Ciuc Winter will be available on the Romanian market only during the winter season. Ciuc Winter beer will be distributed in PET bottles of 1 litre, at national level. The new beer has a special flavour and an alcohol content of 7%.

“When we produced Ciuc Winter we concentrated both on its taste and on its design. We have created a beer with a special flavour, but at the same time we imagined a special design, in consonance with the winter days. Under the slogan “The beer that brings you the summer joys in mid winter”, the Ciuc Winter promotion inspired consumers to unleash their imagination and see that winter can be like summer. We tried to find a common element for all the seasons, in order not to regret the warm summer days, and enjoy the winter holidays,” says Edwin Botterman, President & CEO BRAU UNION Romania.

Launching the Ciuc Winter beer, Ciuc diversifies its portfolio for consumers, offering them a special present for the holidays. Ciuc Winter also brings an element of novelty both on the Romanian beer market, by developing the specialties segment, and for the image of the Ciuc brand.
