People packed Egg Harbor Township’s newest brewery, Hidden Sands Brewing Co. on Washington Avenue, on Sunday, January 14 for its opening weekend, the Shore News Today reports.

The brewery features one tasting room upstairs and another downstairs, both of which serve a variety of craft beers in pints or sample flights.

Managing partner John Cipriani said the name comes from the 800-foot deep Sands aquifer, which the company bored down to draw pure water that needs no treating or processing before the brewing starts.
